HTC announces the One SC for China with an updated design

At the beginning of the year, HTC promised us that they would release less phones this year, but for some reason they seem to be continuing the trend of offering many variants. We already heard about the One X+, now it’s time for the One SC. So far it looks like the One SC will only be for China. What makes this phone unique is the asymmetrical design on the back. As you can see in the image, the HTC logo is sideways and sits to the right in a ridged area. The Beats Audio logo is also sideways and to the bottom left. Last but not least, the camera lens is at the top left surrounded by a gray finish. I actually think it’s kind of cool, but unfortunately the specs aren’t impressing me all that much:
  • 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) screen,
  • Dual-core 1.0GHz processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 4GB internal storage
  • microSD for up to 32GB of extra storage
  • 5MP rear camera f/2.0
  • 1800mAh battery
  • 8.85mm thick, 116g
  • Sense 4.0 on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Could this same design appear on the upcoming One X+? What do you guys think of the design? I think there will probably be a lot of love/hate.
