Smartphone cases are one of those things that folks either love or hate. I prefer my phone to roll naked. I just don’t like cases whatsoever. I don’t like the feel of them, the added bulk, weight, the look of them… I could go on and on. I know, I know. You’re crazy to spend the money on a high-end device and not protect it with a case. Fact is, in owning three different smartphones over the span of the last three years, I’ve dropped my device a grand total of three times. Yes, I’m careful with my phones as one should be. It’s just not worth it for me to attach something to my phone that I don’t like in the first place. This new case might change all that for me however.
You may have heard of Mophie cases before. Up until now, they’ve dealt solely with iOS devices, and what makes this case different than others is that not only does it provide protection for your device, it boosts battery life also. I’m not talking about a few extra hours either. This case boosts battery life on the Galaxy S III by over 100% delivering over 2300 mAh worth of additional juice. That’s obviously a pretty big deal. Getting the additional juice will come at a price though, to the tune of $100. It will definitely make for a sweet stocking stuffer this holiday. Hit the break for the full presser.
