T-Mobile LG Optimus L9 dropping October 31st

Two weeks ago we revealed that the LG Optimus L9 would be available on T-Mobile’s network after a few leaked shots were revealed. Today, T-Mobile confirmed what we all like to hear – launch date and pricing. The Optimus L9 will launch on October 31st for $79.99 on a two-year contract with a $50 mail-in rebate. For this mid-range device, you’ll get modest specs:

• 4.7-inch 540 x 960 display
• Android 4.0 ice Cream Sandwich
• 1 GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM
• 5 megapixel camera
• 2,150 mAh battery

T-Mobile and LG officially announce LG Optimus L9

Well, now we can say that it’s official. Last week, we reported images of the LG Optimus L9 complete with T-Mobile branding were leaked. Today, T-Mobile and LG have officially announced its availability. LG is touting the device’s sleek, stylish, and thin frame (.36-inches thin) to go along with its 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and long-lasting battery. Pricing and a solid release date have yet to be announced, other than the vague “fall” release window. However, it’s safe to say that we’ll probably see the sleek device by November.
