
T-Mobile announced today that 10 more metro areas throughout the U.S. now have HSPA+ coverage. Customers on T-Mobile’s network in these areas with appropriate handsets can take advantage of T-Mobile’s Challenger initiative to eventually roll out service on the 1900MHz HSPA+ band nationwide. T-Mobile is also encouraging AT&T customers with unlocked phones to transfer their service to experience the benefits of T-Mobile’s network.
The locations announced today include:
- Phoenix, including Tempe, Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Paradise Valley, Surprise and Ahwatukee
- Mesa, including Chandler and Gilbert
- Tucson, including South Tucson, Marana, and Vail
- Silicon Valley, including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara, San Jose
- Oakland
- San Francisco
- Stockton
- Modesto
- Miami, including Coral Gables and Miami Beach
- Fort Lauderdale, including Hollywood
These new areas join Baltimore, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas and Washington D.C. offering T-Mobile’s enhanced coverage.
